Join us for the Trashion Show, Tryon’s premier April Fools’ Day Fashion Extravaganza!

This year, the Trashion Show will take place at the Clock Tower immediately following the Outhouse Race. Participants are encouraged to come dressed and ready to go at noon and join in the parade!

 

Anyone with a desire to turn trash into treasure with some thought-provoking wearable art is invited to participate! Reuse household materials from newspapers to old garden hoses to that old cat bed you were going to throw out.

Prizes will be awarded! Judging will be based on the percentage of the outfit that is recycled, repurposed, reused, or found material, and, of course, the fashion!
